Job Overview
This role seeks an experienced GCP Data Engineer with 5 to 12 years of experience to join the Bangalore office. The selection process involves a face-to-face interview scheduled on August 1, 2026.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Develop programming solutions using Python and Java.
- Work extensively with data processing frameworks like Apache Beam (Dataflow).
- Handle various Google Cloud Platform tools including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Spanner, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), and DBT.
- Design and implement ETL processes using Python and SQL.
- Utilize DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Terraform where applicable.
- Maintain proficiency with Kafka for batch and streaming data processing.
- Apply knowledge of data models to design ETL pipelines and enable database replication via message-based Change Data Capture (CDC).
- Demonstrate familiarity with cloud storage architectures and ensure data security and scalability.
- Use Apache Airflow for orchestration of data workflows.
Preferred Certifications
GCP Data Engineer Certification is advantageous for this position.
