Job Summary
As a Package Car Driver, your primary responsibility involves delivering and collecting packages from both residential and commercial locations. This role demands physical stamina, as it entails driving and repeatedly lifting, lowering, and carrying packages in a fast-paced environment. You will adhere to safe transportation practices while traveling to ensure the highest standard of customer service through efficiency and dedication.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently deliver and pick up UPS packages.
- Learn and apply UPS's safe driving techniques.
Qualifications
- Capable of lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs (32 kgs).
- Maintain appearance standards as per UPS guidelines.
- Exhibit excellent customer interaction and driving abilities.
- Meet applicable local age and operational requirements to legally operate a vehicle.
Additional Information
- Work schedule: Tuesday to Saturday shift.
- Position type: Permanent employment.
