About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Full Stack Quantitative Developer with over 4 years of professional experience to enhance our quantitative application development efforts. The successful candidate will have solid exposure to designing and implementing full-stack software solutions, paired with a foundational understanding of concepts in quantitative finance, pricing mechanisms, and risk analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications that support quantitative analytics and trading operations.
- Create scalable backend services along with interactive and responsive frontend web interfaces.
- Implement and integrate quantitative financial models and relevant data sources.
- Work collaboratively with quantitative analysts, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver optimal solutions.
- Engage in code reviews, software testing, deployment procedures, and ongoing maintenance in production environments.
Required Skills
- Backend development expertise preferably in Python or alternatively Java, including REST API and microservices architecture.
- Frontend development skills using React.js or Angular frameworks and proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and HTML/CSS.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), containerization (Docker), continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD), along with beneficial exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Strong analytical abilities including coding, debugging, and problem-solving.
Domain Expertise
- Basic knowledge of Investment Banking and Capital Market operations.
- Exposure to financial instruments like equities, fixed income securities, foreign exchange, or derivatives.
- Understanding of pricing models, risk analytics, and handling of financial data is advantageous.
