Position Overview
We are seeking a Frontend Web Developer skilled in HTML and CSS to join on a contract basis. This remote role allows you to work from any location, focusing on developing and maintaining responsive user interfaces that comply with cross-browser compatibility and design guidelines. Collaboration with design teams to accurately convert mockups into functional front-end components is essential.
Key Duties
- Create and sustain front-end elements using HTML, CSS, and related technologies
- Guarantee responsiveness and consistent performance across various browsers and devices
- Work closely with designers to achieve pixel-perfect UI implementations
- Enhance front-end efficiency and ensure accessibility compliance
- Engage in code reviews and promote development best practices
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong expertise in HTML and CSS with semantic markup proficiency
- Experience applying responsive design and mobile-first methodologies
- Knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS, or frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind
- Competence in using browser developer tools for debugging
- Ability to translate designs from tools like Figma or Sketch into working code
