Frontend Engineer

About the Team

At H2 Games, the User Acquisition team is responsible for expanding our user base by developing targeted strategies that attract, engage, and retain players. We provide comprehensive campaigns involving user engagement, resource management, and rewards while solving complex engineering challenges to maintain data accuracy, security, and scalability. Collaborating with experts in data and algorithms, we create foundational platforms and models to optimize campaign effectiveness and gain insights into our diverse users, driving H2 Games' growth in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, backend and data engineers to design, build, and maintain the frontend components of the user growth platform.
• Create highly scalable and efficient technical architectures aligned with the product roadmap, including frameworks and libraries.
• Develop necessary features, enhance performance, and swiftly resolve technical issues.
• Maintain platform’s security, reliability, and overall performance.
• Work closely with product and data teams to ensure a smooth and engaging user experience.
• Keep informed on emerging web technologies and trends, sharing knowledge with engineers and product managers about new possibilities.
• Utilize full-stack web technologies including Node.js, React or Vue, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS to build MVPs and conduct experiments, adopting new tools and techniques as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable frontend engineering role.
• Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS with an understanding of browser internals; able to develop independently without relying solely on frontend libraries.
• Expertise with popular frontend frameworks and libraries such as React and Vue, including their design concepts and practical use cases.
• Knowledge of frontend engineering best practices and modular development.
• Experienced with debugging and testing tools for frontend development; capable of solving complex problems autonomously.
• Understanding of integration between frontend and backend systems, with solid abstract thinking abilities and some knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• A passion for continuous learning, enthusiasm for technology, and technical curiosity.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, responsibility, and a positive outlook.
• Experience in managing and maintaining large-scale applications is advantageous.
