About the Role
This remote freelance position is open to content creators located in specific U.S. markets including Las Vegas, NV; Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Chicago, IL; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Minneapolis–St. Paul, MN; New York City Metro Area; New Jersey; Massachusetts; and Michigan. Creators must be able to travel locally to film on-site at dispensaries or other client venues as required.
We are seeking talented User-Generated Content (UGC) creators to join our network producing monthly content for cannabis industry clients. The ideal candidate understands short-form video trends, engages with social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok seamlessly, and crafts authentic videos that resonate with audiences.
Monthly Deliverables
- Create 2 edited vertical videos, each at least 45 seconds long
- Create 6 edited vertical videos, each at least 10 seconds long
All content must be high resolution and optimized for social media publication.
Key Responsibilities
- Film and edit compelling vertical videos aligned with brief and strategy
- Incorporate voiceovers, text overlays, trending formats, and graphic elements as appropriate
- Submit finished videos on schedule
- Complete one revision cycle if requested
- Participate in a monthly virtual check-in lasting 30 to 45 minutes
Qualifications and Requirements
- Residency in or near designated U.S. markets
- Demonstrated experience producing UGC or social media content for brand promotion
- Proficient video editing capabilities
- Self-management skills with effective communication
- Comfortable filming within dispensaries and handling cannabis products where legally allowed
- Portfolio or examples of social media content are mandatory
Compensation and Benefits
- $1,000 per month under an ongoing freelance contract
