Forklift Operator

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a warehouse and distribution team located at a Hornby factory. This position offers a Monday to Friday day shift schedule, with some shifts beginning as early as 5am. Initially a temporary role, it holds the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Duties

• Utilize forklift to transport products within the warehouse
• Pick and pack customer orders efficiently
• Load and unload goods from trucks
• Use RF scanning technology to track inventory
• Stack boxes in preparation for distribution
• Operate manufacturing machinery as needed

Required Skills and Experience

• Valid Forklift OSH Certification
• Minimum one year of forklift operating experience
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Proficient with RF scanner use
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
• Self-driven and proactive work attitude
• Physically fit for lifting and manual tasks
• Willingness to work overtime when required
