Food Service Utility - Full Time

Overview

Morrison Healthcare, a company within Compass Healthcare, is actively seeking full-time Food Service Utility team members to work at USA Health University Hospital located at 2451 University Hospital Drive, Mobile, AL. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within kitchen workspaces and supporting food service operations to ensure an excellent dining experience for patients and staff.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors following safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Clean kitchen surfaces including worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat preparation areas.
• Manage waste by collecting trash, placing it into designated containers, and sanitizing garbage receptacles.
• Facilitate the transfer of supplies and equipment between storage zones and workstations.
• Support banquet table arrangements and front-of-house setup tasks.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and delivery of supplies and products.
• Distribute utensils, supplies, and portable equipment as needed.
• Adhere strictly to all sanitation and safety protocols during all tasks.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a food service utility role is preferred.

Work Schedule and Environment

This position is full-time with varying days and hours on a rotating schedule. Detailed shift information will be provided during the interview.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this role ranges from $13 to $20 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
