Role Overview

This hybrid full-time position based in Agra requires operating and managing flexo printing machines for non-woven fabric printing. The operator will be responsible for machine setup, print quality control, and production adherence, alongside documentation and production reporting tasks which can sometimes be handled remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate flexographic printing machines to print on non-woven materials.
• Prepare printing plates and inks, load and align fabric rolls, and conduct test runs to ensure print accuracy.
• Adjust machine parameters such as speed, tension, and registration to optimize print outcomes.
• Carry out routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor print defects and implement corrective measures to maintain high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to meet output targets and comply with safety and hygiene protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, materials used, and report on performance metrics.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance printing processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience operating flexo or similar printing machinery, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of printing processes specific to packaging or non-woven fabrics, with knowledge of color matching, registration, and quality standards.
• Ability to interpret production specifications and technical drawings with meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with workplace safety, proper handling of inks and chemicals, and adherence to hygiene practices.
• Basic mechanical skills for machine maintenance and repair tasks.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work onsite in Agra with flexible shifts and hybrid work options for documentation-related duties.
• Previous experience in printing, packaging, or non-woven textile manufacturing preferred; vocational training or certification in printing technology is advantageous.
