Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance customized FLEXCUBE functionalities and interfaces.
- Oversee Business As Usual (BAU) operations ensuring adherence to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Lead root cause analyses, defect resolution, and production incident management.
- Engage closely with business stakeholders, in-house technology teams, and Oracle/vendor personnel.
- Participate in solution design and architectural reviews to maintain alignment with enterprise standards and target architecture.
- Support and improve integration workflows including Generic Interface (GI), RESTful APIs, and batch processing.
- Take part in release management, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment.
- Continuously suggest and implement improvements enhancing system stability, performance, and scalability.
Mandatory Skills and Experience
- 8 to 10 years of direct hands-on experience working with Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking platform.
- Deep understanding of FLEXCUBE architecture and technologies including Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Java, and middleware components.
- Proven track record with implementation and custom development on FLEXCUBE version 14 or above.
- Comprehensive knowledge of key FLEXCUBE modules such as Core Banking, CASA, General Ledger, Interest & Charges.
- Strong expertise in building integration frameworks, encompassing Generic Interface (GI), REST APIs, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- Experience working with Oracle Development Tools (ODT) and Oracle Application Server (OAS).
- Familiarity with shell scripting environments.
- Proven ability to handle interface-intense systems including data warehouses, payment platforms, reconciliation systems, and upstream/downstream integration.
- Experience supporting production/BAU environments with adherence to SLA commitments.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to multi-country FLEXCUBE implementations.
- Knowledge of Oracle Banking Liquidity Management (OBLM), loan management, and money market modules.
