Spanning five acres, it features attractions such as a vibrant waterpark, private beach, retail outlets, a beach club, and a variety of dining options ranging from fine dining to casual eateries, making it a premier all-inclusive holiday spot.
Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and certified Group Fitness Instructor who will lead motivating and safe group exercise sessions. The instructor will cater to participants of diverse fitness levels, fostering a positive, inclusive, and professional atmosphere to encourage physical health and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diverse group fitness classes including HIIT, Functional Training, Circuit Training, Strength & Conditioning, Bootcamp, Core, Stretching, and Cardio sessions.
- Maintain excellent standards in guest interactions within the fitness areas, ensuring superior service quality.
- Prioritize the health and safety of guests during all fitness activities.
- Organize and oversee sports and leisure activities effectively.
- Engage guests warmly, advocating the advantages of regular exercise and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Work collaboratively with team members to plan and implement special events, themed workout programs, or wellness projects, also contributing innovative ideas to enhance guest physical engagement.
- Manage and audit fitness equipment inventory regularly to control operational expenses efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of Group Fitness Instructor certification from recognized bodies such as ACE, AFAA, NASM, REPs, EREPS, Les Mills, or their equivalents.
- Holding CPR, AED, and First Aid certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of two years' experience in leading group fitness classes.
- Excellent communication capabilities coupled with strong motivational skills.
- Superior customer service aptitude and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
- Multilingual abilities or basic comprehension of local languages considered advantageous.
