Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Financial Systems Director to lead the design, deployment, and enhancement of our HIPAA-compliant healthcare billing and financial infrastructure. This visionary role requires deep expertise in revenue cycle management (RCM) and the application of AI/ML technologies to automate workflows, integrate systems, and collaborate across teams to support rapid expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a robust, HIPAA-compliant billing platform enabling claims-based billing with integrated clearinghouse payment processing.
• Architect scalable solutions for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools for future enhancements.
• Create automated tools to support claims ingestion, submission, eligibility verification, patient responsibility calculations, claims adjudication, and ACH processing to improve end-to-end revenue cycle management.
• Automate patient, payer, and benefits verification processes to reduce manual efforts and improve accuracy.
• Implement automated billing and compliance reporting solutions for clients and providers.
• Lead the integration of the billing system with Salesforce, Carrum's Care Platform, clearinghouses, and NetSuite.
• Continuously optimize workflows by identifying bottlenecks and enhancing system integrations to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate across Finance, Platform, Provider, Client Success, Commercial, Legal, and Compliance teams to maintain and scale the billing platform.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 10 years of practical experience designing and managing HIPAA-compliant healthcare billing systems.
• Strong domain knowledge in revenue cycle management, claims-based billing, working with third-party billing administrators, clearinghouses, ERPs, and modern financial platforms.
• A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML tools and methods to automate complex financial workflows.
