Financial Controller

About the Role

We are partnering with a reputable and expanding aircraft leasing firm based in Dublin that seeks a permanent Financial Controller to oversee their international finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the accounting, auditing, and taxation aspects within the finance department.
• Oversee monthly billing procedures alongside management of accounts receivable and payable.
• Ensure completion of all statutory local compliance requirements, including VAT and corporate tax filings, as well as central bank submissions.
• Lead and manage the finance team, providing supervision and guidance.

Required Expertise and Qualifications

• Qualified accountant holding ACCA or ACA certification, with preferred experience totaling 8 to 10 years beyond qualification.
• Prior involvement in group accounting functions is advantageous.
• Proven experience in managing staff and teams is essential.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of FRS 102 financial reporting standards is favorable.
• Experience within the aircraft leasing sector is desirable.
