Role Overview
Barden has been tasked by the CFO of a rapidly expanding international company to recruit a Financial Controller to head their finance department. This comprehensive leadership position provides involvement in financial reporting, treasury management, team oversight, strategic initiatives, and a key role near executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile monthly and yearly management accounts.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team members.
- Oversee daily treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, and management of foreign exchange risks.
- Take full responsibility for the annual audit and ensure statutory compliance across multiple countries.
- Improve financial systems, processes, and controls continuously.
- Support financial planning activities and contribute to strategic business decisions.
Candidate Profile
- Certified accountant holding ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with 5 to 10 years in a senior finance role.
- Previous experience in group finance, commercial finance, or financial controlling functions.
- Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams.
- Excellent communicator capable of engaging with various stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP software platforms.
