Role Overview
We are looking for a commercially focused Finance Analyst to join the Neverfail Finance team on a 12-month secondment based at the North Sydney Head Office. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner for Supply Chain, this position will support manufacturing and logistics operations by providing financial insights, ensuring governance, and collaborating with leaders to enhance business outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in month-end reporting, financial forecasting, and performance analysis for the Neverfail Supply Chain division.
- Generate financial reports, dashboards, and insights for operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to support initiatives within Manufacturing and Logistics functions.
- Help prepare and assess capital expenditure business cases and investment evaluations.
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register, including tracking capitalisation, depreciation, disposals, and related reporting.
- Oversee the complete accounts payable workflow, ensuring accurate invoice processing, purchase order verification, and supplier payments.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, authority frameworks, and SOX controls.
- Conduct supplier reconciliations, review purchase orders, and perform general ledger analysis.
- Support budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
- Drive continuous improvements to streamline finance processes and boost operational performance.
- Assist with both internal and external audits, maintaining strong financial controls.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance, commercial analysis, or accounting, preferably within FMCG or similar sectors.
- Possesses robust analytical skills to interpret financial information and deliver actionable insights.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experienced in supporting budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting cycles.
- Exemplifies strong organizational skills capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Shows initiative with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint functionalities.
- Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent ERP systems is advantageous.
- CA, CPA, or CFA qualification or progress towards these certifications is highly regarded.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
