About the Role
Join Stryker's Financial Planning & Analysis team as a Finance Analyst where your financial insights contribute to improving healthcare outcomes. In this role, you will collaborate with senior leaders to convert complex data into strategic insights that enhance organizational performance, foster growth, and guide investment decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with finance and commercial leadership to grasp shifting business priorities and translate financial information into clear actionable recommendations that guide decision-making.
- Produce precise performance reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, adjusting to business needs and stringent deadlines.
- Support month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning efforts while upholding high standards of accuracy and detail orientation.
- Examine business performance metrics, detect principal drivers, risks, and potential opportunities, and communicate succinct financial narratives for leadership action.
- Employ financial modelling, scenario analysis, and independent commercial judgment to question assumptions and assist leaders in evaluating business and investment options.
- Oversee reporting and analysis for incentive programs, ensuring accurate data, proper accruals, and insightful performance evaluations across the company.
- Forge trusted relationships with finance and operational partners by proactively addressing issues, responding to stakeholder requirements, and driving solutions that bolster business objectives.
- Identify and recommend continual enhancements in reporting, planning, and analytics processes to improve efficiency, data quality, and decision-making capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
- Either completed or actively pursuing CA or CPA certification.
- At least 3 years’ experience in financial planning & analysis, commercial finance, management accounting, or a comparable finance role.
- Minimum 2 years’ advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel focusing on financial modeling, forecasting, and analyzing large datasets.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for reporting and dashboard creation.
- Background supporting corporate budgeting, forecasting, and performance management cycles.
- Experience in constructing financial models and scenario analyses to assist operational or commercial decisions.
