About Chennai Diesel Pvt. Ltd.
Chennai Diesel Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive Field Service Engineer to join our team, based at our Chennai location. This role involves service and maintenance of diesel generator sets from renowned brands such as Cooper, Kirloskar, Cummins, Greaves, Mahindra, and Ashok Leyland.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair diesel generator sets efficiently.
- Identify mechanical and electrical issues and address them promptly.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and conduct load testing.
- Respond quickly and effectively to on-site breakdowns.
- Keep accurate service records and complete necessary documentation.
- Collaborate closely with the service manager for spare parts procurement and customer communications.
Candidate Requirements
- Educational Qualification: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years in servicing diesel generator (DG) sets; candidates with strong technical knowledge but no experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with diesel generator brands like Cooper, Kirloskar, Cummins, Greaves, Mahindra, and Ashok Leyland is preferred.
- Male candidates only.
- Possession of a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is mandatory.
