Role Overview

We are seeking experienced or motivated individuals for the position of Fall Protection Support Operative. This role involves assisting with installing, testing, and repairing height safety systems across diverse sites nationwide. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to ensure all projects meet high safety and quality standards while being efficient and timely. The position offers opportunities for professional advancement, including NVQ certification in Working at Heights after a qualifying period, supporting long-term career growth in a nurturing and expanding organisation.

Key Duties

  • Assist in setting up, testing, and fixing height safety systems.
  • Operate across various sites such as existing buildings and construction projects throughout the UK.
  • Support lead engineers to meet safety, timing, and specification requirements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and quality standards during all tasks.
  • Follow risk assessments and established safe work procedures consistently.
  • Cultivate teamwork and enhance technical skills through on-the-job learning.

Candidate Profile

  • Prior involvement in fall protection or height safety roles preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in field-based or remote work environments.
  • Flexible and willing to travel across the UK.
  • Self-driven and proactive with strong initiative.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to work at heights or already confident in this area.
  • High commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Possession of a full valid UK driving license is essential.
  • CSCS card is advantageous but optional.
