Role Overview

As a Facility Technician, you will be vital in maintaining and ensuring the optimal operation of facility systems with minimal disruption to production. This involves hands-on management, monitoring, and maintenance of mechanical, ACMV, electrical, and fire systems to guarantee efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of mechanical, air conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV), electrical, and fire safety systems.
• Continuously monitor system parameters and promptly respond to any alarms.
• Conduct routine switch-over operations as required.
• Collect and assess onsite data and system performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot issues as first-line support; escalate unresolved matters appropriately.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on mechanical components such as pumps and MAH/AHU systems.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and adherence to 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Support system engineers in activities aimed at system robustness enhancement and facility expansion projects.
• Participate as an active member of the Emergency Response Team when necessary.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a minimum qualification of NTC2 or NITEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Have 2 to 5 years of pertinent experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance roles.
• Exhibit hands-on practical experience within the last three years.
• Be willing to undertake 12-hour rotating shifts.
