Role summary

This position keeps international air shipments progressing efficiently. You will act as a key connection point between customers, airlines, and warehouse operations, making sure export freight is booked, documented, and dispatched accurately, on schedule, and in line with global trade requirements.

Key duties

In this role, you will coordinate air export movements, manage the paperwork flow, support customers, and help maintain safe and compliant operations.

Bookings and coordination

• Arrange bookings by phone and email, secure space with airlines, and work closely with transport and warehouse teams.
• Ensure pickups are planned correctly and cargo is ready at the right time for departure.

Documentation and administration

• Prepare export paperwork carefully and ensure all details are complete and correct.
• Process invoicing and filing after each flight.
• Create monthly console schedules.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in all records and data entry.

Customer service

• Serve as the primary contact for clients.
• Respond to queries promptly, resolve issues effectively, and support strong professional relationships.
• Communicate clearly and remain composed when workloads are busy or deadlines are tight.

Safety and compliance

• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Report incidents accurately when they occur.
• Complete required training in Dangerous Goods, Customs, Security, and Load & Restraint.
• Help ensure operations stay safe and compliant.

Requirements

Applicants should bring solid experience in export operations or air freight, together with strong knowledge of documentation, customs rules, and international logistics practices. The role also calls for strong organisation, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage several shipments at once.
