Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Supply Chain Analyst position in Spring, TX. The role focuses on keeping metals inventory available by monitoring stock levels, following material movement, and supporting supply and demand planning. You will review buying patterns, supplier performance, and transportation costs to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities to improve performance. The job also includes creating reports and dashboards, assisting with forecasting and capacity planning, and working closely with operations, purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to strengthen lead times and service levels. In addition, the position requires accurate ERP data maintenance, support for process standardization, and participation in continuous improvement efforts across the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Track inventory levels and material movement to help maintain product availability.
- Support demand planning and supply planning activities for metals products.
- Review purchasing behavior, supplier performance, and logistics spending to spot patterns and improvement areas.
- Build reports and dashboards to communicate supply chain performance.
- Assist with forecasting and capacity planning.
- Work with operations, purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to improve lead times and service levels.
- Keep ERP data accurate and up to date.
- Help standardize processes and support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with the skill to interpret data, recognize trends, and suggest practical actions.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools, plus familiarity with ERP or MRP systems and basic reporting/dashboard tools.
- Understanding of supply chain, logistics, inventory management, and purchasing concepts; experience in manufacturing or metals is an advantage.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for working across functions.
- Strong attention to detail, solid organization, and the ability to handle several tasks and deadlines in a busy environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- A proven focus on safety, continuous improvement, and accountability for personal and team goals.
- Willingness to work on-site in Spring, TX and build a long-term career with a growing organization.
