Role Overview

The Experience Manager holds responsibility for designing, launching, marketing, and overseeing exclusive public and private events throughout winter and summer seasons both on and off the mountain. Collaborating closely with the Experience Director, this client-facing role demands leadership in sales interactions, event planning, and on-site coordination, ensuring superior experiences for participants. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Experiences to conceptualize, curate, and deliver innovative, high-quality experiences across Aspen One
  • Act as a liaison across departments—Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, and Mountain Operations—to ensure alignment with company goals and consistent experience delivery
  • Monitor market trends and spearhead innovation to develop new offerings
  • Manage every detail of event execution including guest reception, service standards, and on-site aesthetics
  • Engage in proactive sales efforts via various channels to build a pipeline of private and corporate clients, converting prospects into sales and achieving revenue targets
  • Create a personalized and welcoming guest environment, using individual preferences to tailor service
  • Partner with leadership to develop concepts through to execution, working with brands and marketing teams
  • Deliver exceptional client management from experience creation to post-event follow-up
  • Assist in recruiting and managing event staff
  • Oversee on-site event staffing and operations during experience execution
  • Host and coordinate with key partners such as LVMH and Burgess
  • Maintain strong relationships with Aspen Skiing Company and Aspen Hospitality departments to facilitate smooth communications and event facilitation
  • Provide timely feedback to management to improve guest engagement and operational procedures
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of local mountain terrain and associated department programs to make informed recommendations
  • Manage the department budget responsibly using financial data and forecasts

Qualifications and Experience

  • Preferred college degree
  • Minimum two years’ experience delivering high-level guest services
  • At least two years’ event coordination experience
  • Sales experience is preferred
  • Previous managerial experience in event contexts (e.g., managing servers, kitchen staff, drivers) is advantageous
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
  • Bilingual ability, especially English and Spanish, is preferred
