Executive Adjuster - Major Loss

Job Purpose

This role reports directly to the Country Manager and involves managing a diverse range of claims from initial investigation through to final settlement. The position requires adherence to all technical and operational policies and procedures to maintain company standards. Additionally, the role supports the strengthening and development of the Saudi team’s technical skills through coaching and mentoring, fostering sustainable local expertise in alignment with McLarens’ strategic goals. The position is based in Riyadh and is open to expatriate candidates.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage personal caseload to a high standard, whether cases are originated independently or through other means.
• Conduct thorough investigations, negotiate settlements, and resolve claims professionally and efficiently.
• Engage with insured parties, insurers, and brokers to ensure timely and professional claims resolution.
• Perform on-site inspections and damage assessments related to claims.
• Prepare detailed reports in line with professional standards and company guidelines within set timelines.
• Actively participate in business development efforts to expand McLarens’ portfolio.
• Network to identify opportunities for business growth and facilitate new client acquisition.
• Offer technical expertise and mentoring to other adjusters and support personnel.
• Contribute to ongoing enhancement of internal claims handling processes, documentation templates, and technical resources.
• Complete various projects and additional tasks as assigned.
• Consistently uphold the positive reputation of McLarens and work towards maximizing company and group profitability.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be CILA or CII qualified or making substantial progress toward these qualifications; additional industry certifications are advantageous.
• Proven track record in loss adjusting, with strong emphasis on quality, communication, technical expertise, and organizational skills.
• Competent in negotiation, decision-making, problem-solving, and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to build and maintain robust relationships internally and externally is critical.
• Positive reputation within broker and insurer networks is beneficial.
• Experience managing Property, Construction, and Engineering claims is essential; familiarity with other business lines is a plus.
• Must be willing to travel due to geographic responsibilities.
