Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Event Marketing Manager to spearhead Sage's customer event marketing initiatives. This position is responsible for crafting and delivering events that deepen customer engagement, promote account expansion, and foster valuable connections among customers, prospects, and industry leaders. Events include executive dinners, regional roundtables, customer appreciation occasions, and Sage-hosted experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of various customer-focused events such as executive roundtables, dinners, advisory experiences, and regional gatherings.
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of Sage’s flagship annual customer event, coordinating closely with the event production agency and internal teams to ensure a superior attendee experience.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Growth Marketing, and operator advocacy leadership to develop attendee engagement strategies that maximize event impact and strengthen relationships.
  • Manage all facets of event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, contract negotiation, budgeting, travel arrangements, communication plans, production, on-site management, and post-event activities.
  • Work with Growth Marketing and Marketing Operations to devise integrated promotional campaigns, streamline registration processes, and maintain effective attendee communication throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Analyze event success through metrics such as participation rates, engagement levels, customer feedback, impact on account growth, and overall business returns, using these insights to refine future event planning.
