Job Overview
As an Estimator II at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in developing project estimates that are both accurate and competitive. Your contributions will directly support the company's growth and profitability by assisting with cost analysis, bid strategies, and risk evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the estimation process, ensuring all project estimates are accurate and completed on schedule.
- Work closely with various internal teams to collect project details and support cost estimation activities.
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to help define project scope and identify possible risks.
- Help prepare thorough cost estimates encompassing labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
- Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotations to verify competitiveness and precision.
- Provide assistance to senior estimators and estimating managers as needed.
- Keep abreast of current industry trends, market shifts, and technological advancements relevant to estimating.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
