About the Company

The company focuses on supporting pricing strategies and cost management related to product offerings. It works closely with engineering, research and development, production, and procurement teams to drive cost reduction and value engineering efforts.

Role Overview

This position aids the Senior Cost Analyst by developing product price lists, estimating costs for customized units, and assisting the sales team on pricing matters. It plays a pivotal role in cross-functional coordination to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

Key Responsibilities

Help create and verify product price lists to ensure consistency with catalogues.
Estimate costs and determine pricing for bespoke equipment and special options.
Contribute to value engineering and value analysis projects.
Regularly update pricing lists considering changes in design, materials, and operations.
Analyze shifts in raw material and component prices.
Validate and approve sales orders within the ERP system.
Track sales quotations and identify pricing issues.
Audit bills of materials (BOMs) and process routing data to uphold accurate pricing.
Coordinate with procurement to revise component pricing records.
Maintain accurate standard costs for all items within ERP LN.
Ensure comprehensive documentation and perform weekly backups of data.
Act as a Cost Planner when needed.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
At least one year of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing context is necessary.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in ERP systems.
Advanced data analysis and forecasting abilities, including MS Excel.
Excellent communication and cooperation capabilities.
High attention to detail, self-driven, and goal-focused.
Broad computer literacy.
