Environmental Engineer

Role Overview

TECT for Environmental Consultation is looking to add experienced environmental professionals to its Qatar team. The hiring includes two levels: Senior Environmental Engineer and Environmental Engineer. Candidates should have a background in environmental science or engineering and hands-on exposure to consulting, monitoring, permitting, and EIA-related work.

Open Positions

• Senior Environmental Engineer: This role is intended for highly experienced professionals with a strong track record in environmental consulting and project leadership.
• Environmental Engineer: This position suits candidates with solid practical experience in environmental engineering and consulting assignments.

Senior Environmental Engineer - Key Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
• At least 15 years of experience is necessary.
• Experience on PWA projects is mandatory.
• Applicants should have a proven background in managing environmental consulting assignments.
• Deep involvement in environmental impact assessments, environmental permitting, and environmental monitoring is expected.
• Prior work on Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) is required.
• Candidates must have prepared Environmental Monthly Reports before.
• Strong familiarity with EIA standards, permitting rules, and international requirements is essential.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills are needed.
• Knowledge of PWA project workflows and permitting procedures is important.

Environmental Engineer - Key Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience is expected.
• Experience on PWA projects is preferred.
• Prior exposure to environmental consulting work is required.
• Experience in environmental monitoring, environmental permitting, and EIA studies is needed.
• Candidates should be able to prepare Environmental Monthly Reports and Environmental Management Plans (EMPs).
• A good understanding of environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and international standards is necessary.
• Strong written communication and report-writing ability is important.
