English Specialist (Remote)

Role Summary

We are seeking a part-time English Specialist to join a client organization remotely, performing evaluations and grading of English language proficiency assessments tailored for non-native speakers. This role involves assessing both written and oral responses, ensuring that they meet defined assessment standards accurately and consistently.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess written and verbal English responses for language proficiency levels.
• Assign grades following established rubrics and assessment criteria.
• Offer clear, consistent feedback on language performance.
• Document evaluation outcomes thoroughly for quality control purposes.
• Comply with strict deadlines and uphold confidentiality regarding assessment materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in English at a native or near-native level.
• Experience in language testing, teaching, or related fields is advantageous.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to apply structured evaluation guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English.
• Knowledge of language proficiency frameworks such as CEFR is desirable.
