Role Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an English Language Specialist specializing in transcription, working remotely on a contract basis. This position entails accurately converting audio recordings into well-formatted written English, with meticulous editing and proofreading. Candidates must be fluent in English and have prior experience in transcription.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform audio files into precise English transcripts adhering to correct formatting.
- Review and refine transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and overall clarity.
- Follow specific client guidelines and maintain transcription quality standards.
- Handle confidential and sensitive materials responsibly with high discretion.
- Deliver transcription assignments within set deadlines.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Fluent English speaker with strong listening comprehension.
- Previous experience in transcription, proofreading, or editing.
- High attention to detail and ability to comply with structured instructions.
- Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute.
- Capability to work autonomously in a remote work environment.
