About the Role

EtihadWE is looking for a skilled Engineer Planning & Scheduling to join their team in Ajman, UAE. This pivotal position involves developing and executing maintenance planning and scheduling using SAP-PM for operation and maintenance (O&M) assets according to approved maintenance strategies, aligned with operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and uphold detailed maintenance plans and schedules for power and water assets, covering routine, preventive, and reliability-centered maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to synchronize schedules with operational needs, aiming to reduce downtime.
• Create and oversee work orders ensuring they are comprehensive, prioritized, and scheduled correctly.
• Track maintenance activity progress and modify schedules as necessary to manage delays or changes.
• Optimize resource utilization to effectively back maintenance schedules.
• Monitor and analyze maintenance KPIs including equipment availability, completion rates, and schedule compliance.
• Generate reports and deliver insights regarding maintenance performance to facilitate ongoing improvements.
• Work in close coordination with operations, engineering, and maintenance groups to align maintenance activities with overall operational goals.
• Identify risks tied to maintenance tasks and design strategies to mitigate them.
• Maintain meticulous records of maintenance operations, work orders, schedules, and performance data.
• Provide regular presentations and reports about planning and scheduling activities to management and stakeholders.
• Assess existing planning and scheduling procedures and suggest enhancements to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to applicable safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Expertise in maintenance management systems such as CMMS and scheduling software.
• Strong organizational capabilities and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adept at handling multiple priorities and flexible to changing conditions.
