Role Overview

This role involves leading and coordinating all cabin and appearance maintenance activities for the airline's Boeing 787 GEnx, A321, and other fleet aircraft. The incumbent will focus on ensuring both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations and company standards. Supervising a team of technicians, the role demands maintaining top aircraft performance levels, minimizing aircraft downtime, and boosting operational efficiency.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team performing maintenance on Riyadh Air’s fleet, ensuring compliance with safety standards and optimization of task execution.
• Inspect and certify both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work, promptly addressing defects to uphold aircraft availability.
• Complete maintenance assignments within prescribed timeframes, supporting on-time aircraft departure performance.
• Maintain accurate records including technical logbooks, work packages, job cards, and zonal handovers, delivered within required deadlines.
• Ensure workplace cleanliness and organization to foster a safe working environment.
• Guarantee full compliance with authority regulations and internal procedures to sustain quality and safety benchmarks.
• Promote a culture of safety by reporting incidents and occurrences via the Safety Management System.
• Identify and escalate technical challenges to the Cabin Line Maintenance Manager to facilitate swift resolutions.
• Assist and deputize for the Cabin Line Maintenance Manager in daily tasks, demonstrating leadership and technical proficiency.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement and lean methodology initiatives aimed at enhancing maintenance effectiveness.
• Train and mentor new technical staff to ensure competency and safety in maintenance operations.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a diploma degree in aviation management, engineering, or related disciplines.
• Possesses valid Aircraft Maintenance Licenses such as GACA A/P, FAA A/P, or EASA B1.
• Has a minimum of 6 years experience in cabin line maintenance, with at least 3 years on Boeing B787 GEnx or A321 aircraft.
• Certified with Boeing 787 GEnx Type Rating Level II/III or Airbus A321 type rating.
• Exhibits strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail critical for thorough inspections and maintenance certification.
• Demonstrates excellent analytical and project management capabilities.
• Displays prominent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and coach technical teams effectively.
• Shows a high degree of professionalism and a robust work ethic thriving in dynamic operational settings.
• Experience in continuous improvement and lean principles is advantageous.
• Willing to work away from Riyadh as operational demands require.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary police security clearance applicable to the position.
