Overview
This role is a unique opportunity for an Email Marketing Manager based in Saudi Arabia to significantly influence customer engagement and drive sustainable growth for a rapidly expanding consumer brand. The position centers on overseeing lifecycle marketing strategies that include email, SMS, subscriptions, and customer retention initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for creating and executing lifecycle marketing campaigns to enhance retention, engagement, and revenue across multiple channels. This includes managing email and SMS marketing strategies, campaign scheduling, automated flows, and lifecycle communications. Developing and maintaining customer journeys such as welcome sequences, browse and cart abandonment, post-purchase follow-ups, cross-sell and upsell campaigns, subscription drives, winbacks, and re-engagements fall under your scope. You'll manage SMS campaigns and continually enhance customer interaction and conversion rates. Additionally, you'll design targeted retention programs to boost repeat purchases, subscription uptake, customer lifetime value, and customer loyalty. Advanced segmentation and personalization tactics based on customer activity and lifecycle stages will be crucial. You'll collaborate with creative teams to produce engaging content and establish an experimentation plan testing aspects like subject lines, timing, segmentation, offers, and creative elements. Analyzing lifecycle performance metrics, customer behaviors, and retention data will help identify areas for refinement. You will create dashboards for reporting and work alongside Growth Marketing, Creative, Customer Experience, Product, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and leadership teams to ensure consistent and effective customer engagement.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of three years of direct experience in lifecycle, email, or retention marketing roles with strong execution capabilities. Proficiency in Klaviyo for campaign management, segmentation, and automation is essential, while experience with SMS platforms such as Postscript is advantageous. A solid understanding of lifecycle marketing concepts, segmentation, personalization, retention strategies, and automated flow optimization is required. The candidate should be analytical, skilled in interpreting retention metrics and customer behaviors, and experienced in designing and evaluating A/B tests. Strong strategic planning abilities combined with hands-on campaign execution are needed alongside excellent copywriting skills and an understanding of consumer psychology. Experience in direct-to-consumer (DTC) eCommerce or related sectors like health, wellness, supplements, beauty, or consumer products is preferred. Familiarity with subscription models, cohort analysis, attribution, and retention reporting is a plus. The role also involves leveraging AI tools to enhance marketing efficiency and creative workflow.
