Role Overview
We are searching for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team at Vel Electronics in Deonar, Mumbai. The role involves designing and testing electrical circuits based on customer requirements and ensuring high-quality standards are met through rigorous analysis and testing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed electrical schematic diagrams and perform simulations using industry-standard software tools.
- Design electrical circuits considering customer needs and specify ratings for individual components.
- Develop technical specifications for electrical components and prepare comprehensive wiring diagrams.
- Establish test and inspection protocols to support Quality Assurance and Production teams.
- Conduct various tests to verify systems and components comply with required standards.
- Collaborate with technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery.
- Document all testing activities and generate manuals detailing specifications of electrical components and systems.
- Provide training sessions for technicians and junior engineers to enhance team capabilities.
- Keep abreast of new technologies, industry standards, and relevant regulations to continuously improve design practices.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5.
- 0 to 3 years of professional experience in electrical circuit design and testing, preferably within the Power Electronics sector.
- Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as MATLAB and PSpice.
- Practical experience in assembling, testing, and debugging electrical circuits.
- Strong foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles and current industry practices.
- Excellent skills in drafting and designing circuits and schematic diagrams.
- Ability to analyze problems thoughtfully and devise effective solutions.
- Good communication skills with strong documentation abilities.
- Awareness of emerging trends and technologies in electrical engineering.
