Overview

We are seeking skilled quantitative professionals to assist in training advanced AI models. In this position, you will engage closely with cutting-edge AI technologies, performing tasks such as assessing AI-produced quantitative analyses, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering feedback that directly influences how these AI systems understand data, scientific challenges, and modeling approaches. Candidates from diverse quantitative backgrounds including data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, or related fields are encouraged to apply. This role can be executed alongside other full-time jobs or as the main occupation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Critically review AI-generated quantitative work including statistical and predictive analyses, scientific inference, and data insights, ensuring technical quality and applicability.
  • Develop and resolve quantitative problems to train and evaluate AI capabilities, covering forecasting, experimental design, optimization, and statistical inference.
  • Produce concise technical documentation and maintain clear, well-commented analytical code.
  • Offer feedback that directly impacts the future development of AI models designed for quantitative reasoning.

Required Qualifications

  • At least three years of practical experience in quantitative roles or research environments such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, or operations research.
  • Proficient coding abilities with the capacity to write and review analytic code comprehensively.
  • Hands-on experience in statistical methodologies, predictive modeling, and experimental design techniques (e.g., A/B tests, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting).
  • Fluency in English, including strong written communication.
  • A bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline like Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering is preferred; higher degrees are advantageous.
  • Additional certifications or accomplishments such as Kaggle rankings or cloud ML certifications are beneficial.

Additional Details

This independent contractor role offers payment via PayPal, which manages currency conversions from USD to local currencies. The employer will never request money from applicants. Candidates must reside in the U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand to be considered for this position.
