Job Summary
The E-Commerce Assistant will manage all aspects of inventory listings for the online shop, including photographing items, editing photos, and uploading them to the platform. The role also requires product research for upscale items and handling the fulfillment process—acquiring products, packaging thoughtfully especially for delicate items, and preparing shipping labels. Customer service duties will be performed as needed. This position ensures seamless coordination between the online store and the physical retail location, collaborating closely with front-of-house staff to maintain timely listings.
Required Skills and Experience
- Completion of high school education is required
- Familiarity with women's fashion brands and Shopify platform is highly advantageous
- Effective communication skills with team members, management, and customers
- Strong time management abilities, prioritizing tasks that are time-sensitive
- Excellent organizational skills and efficiency in daily operations
- Proactive approach to resolving product and marketplace challenges
Work Schedule and Location
This role is based onsite in Asheville, NC and is not remote. It offers up to 20 hours weekly with a requirement for weekend availability. Work hours will fall between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with flexibility in scheduling.
