Role Overview
The Duty Manager role is a dynamic position centered on supporting multiple hotel departments to guarantee smooth operational processes and exceptional guest experiences. This position requires close collaboration with the management team to maintain service excellence across all areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the senior management team to oversee daily hotel operations and ensure top-tier guest service from each department.
- Provide on-floor direction during varied events to foster consistent and high-quality service delivery.
- Address customer complaints promptly and effectively to preserve guest satisfaction.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities and departmental functions.
- Supervise and assist front-of-house teams to promote outstanding service standards daily.
- Support the Food & Beverage teams through management, training, and ongoing performance assessments.
- Handle performance management issues professionally and efficiently as needed.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrable prior experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity within the hospitality industry is essential.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including day and evening shifts, as well as any five days per week covering weekends and public holidays.
- Proficient spoken English communication skills at a high level.
