About the Role

Welwyn Hatfield Radio is inviting volunteers to join as presenters for their prominent weekday Drivetime programme. This show targets listeners during their commute home, offering a blend of music, local news, traffic information, interviews, and community features. The role is primarily home-based with studio involvement and holds the possibility of evolving into a paid position.

Primary Responsibilities

Host a live radio programme each weekday afternoon from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
Deliver updates on local news, community happenings, and traffic conditions.
Conduct interviews when appropriate to engage the audience.
Develop captivating and entertaining show content.
Operate broadcasting studio equipment with provided training.
Maintain a professional representation of the radio station.

Candidate Requirements

Strong communication and presentation capabilities.
Dependability with a punctual attitude.
