Role Overview
We are seeking a Domestic Support Worker to join Redroofs Lifecare in Dunedin. This part-time fixed-term position (covering sick leave until 5 October 2026) involves providing effective cleaning and laundry services to residents. The opportunity includes 18+ hours weekly with morning and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality housekeeping and laundry support to residents within a friendly, caring setting.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards ensuring a safe environment.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently when required to meet service needs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not mandatory due to full on-the-job training.
- Ability to engage empathetically and build rapport with residents and colleagues.
- Quick learner with adaptability to new processes and systems.
- Understanding and application of Nga Paerewa sector standards and Treaty of Waitangi principles in daily work.
