Job Overview
Seeking a Documentation & Materials Compliance Specialist to contribute to a project focused on reviewing and documenting packaging materials utilized in manufacturing and shipping processes. The position requires remote work with an initial week onsite. The role is expected to last between 6 to 8 months with potential for extension.
Key Duties
- Examine production documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and specification sheets.
- Trace and collect detailed composition data of packaging materials.
- Liaise with suppliers for comprehensive chemical and material details.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping through electronic document management systems.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to facilitate project objectives.
Required Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related disciplines such as Chemical Engineering, Biologics, or Life Sciences.
- Minimum five years’ experience in environments like manufacturing, engineering, biologics, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Proficiency in handling production documents and tracing materials.
- Ability to interpret BOMs and specification sheets effectively.
- Experience with electronic document management systems.
- Good understanding of manufacturing workflows and product documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational prowess, and capability in coordinating projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in packaging materials and compliance.
- Prior experience within pharmaceutical, biologics, or medical device manufacturing sectors.
