About the Role

Insomnia Cookies aims to be the most creative indulgence brand worldwide and is expanding its community of Insomniacs. We are seeking a skilled District Manager responsible for 9-10 stores located in the Eastern Burroughs NYC market, including city and campus-adjacent locations. This leadership role focuses on boosting top-line sales, overseeing hiring and employee retention, training for customer service excellence, and strategic store planning. As a District Manager, you will lead diverse teams that are deeply familiar with their local markets, neighborhoods, and clientele.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement regional support strategies to reach each store's financial, operational, and customer service objectives, tailoring approaches to meet unique opportunities and challenges of individual locations.
Offer guidance on customer service issues, staffing solutions, operational practices, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with the Director of Workforce Planning, regional team, and Store Operations Managers to manage labor effectively.

Candidate Qualifications

At least 5 years of multi-unit regional management experience within food and beverage, hospitality, retail, or restaurant sectors.
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience specifically in customer service-oriented roles.
Proven capability to recruit, develop, and lead a diverse hourly part-time workforce.
Comprehensive understanding of multiple business areas including supply chain management, profit and loss analysis, customer service, compliance, and human resources.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
Exposure to bakery operations, baking equipment, or commercial kitchen systems is advantageous.
