Role Overview
As a Dispatch & Logistic Executive, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling daily dispatch operations, focusing on efficient route management to reduce transportation costs while enhancing delivery speed.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and organize daily dispatch schedules, optimizing routes for cost-efficiency and timely deliveries.
- Prepare essential documentation including tax invoices, waybills, and delivery notes.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with external transport vendors, negotiate service terms, and oversee driver adherence to schedules.
- Maintain accurate inventory records coupled with stock reconciliation processes.
- Ensure compliance with local safety guidelines and internal quality standards during loading and dispatch operations.
- Handle and resolve issues like shipping delays, damages or discrepancies swiftly.
- Compile and analyze dispatch reports covering metrics such as On-Time Delivery and cost-to-serve to suggest operational improvements.
