About Cooper & Co.
Cooper & Co. specializes in creating furniture and homewares designed to fit the lifestyles of Australians, focusing on practical design suitable for real homes and budgets since 2020. Their carefully curated range includes furniture, lighting, mirrors, and storage items that complement each other.
Role Overview
As the Digital Content Creator, you will be the visible face of Cooper & Co. on social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, managing the creation of content from ideation through filming and editing to publishing. Located at the Heatherton showroom and warehouse, you will work closely with ecommerce, marketing teams, and an external digital agency to amplify the brand’s presence online.
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as a recurring on-camera personality for Cooper & Co. on TikTok and Instagram
- Develop and propose innovative content ideas to help maintain a dynamic content calendar
- Handle filming within the company’s photography studio, showroom, warehouse, and styled settings
- Edit short videos using CapCut, including adding captions, sound, and pacing adjustments
- Create graphic designs, carousels, and static visuals using Canva
- Stay current with trends, sounds, and formats, quickly adapting content accordingly
- Align content development with ecommerce and marketing team promotions
- Establish a repository of product and lifestyle content for wider team use
Candidate Profile
- Confident and comfortable appearing on camera regularly as the brand’s face
- Proactive in generating creative content concepts without waiting for instructions
- Proficient in filming and independently editing content from start to finish
- Experienced in using CapCut for video editing
- Skilled in Canva for producing visual content
- Deep understanding of TikTok’s features, trends, and algorithmic preferences
- Strong knowledge of Instagram functionalities including Reels, carousels, and hooking techniques
- Detail-oriented with a good visual sense to ensure content aligns with brand aesthetics; experience with homewares is advantageous
