Role Overview
This position is for a Design Engineer focused on high-voltage wiring harness work within automotive engineering. The role centers on routing, packaging, and layout development for vehicle electrical systems, along with DMU-based feasibility checks and integration support.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routing and packaging tasks for HV wiring harness systems.
- Perform envelope assessment and clearance validation in vehicle DMU environments.
- Create wiring harness layouts using CATIA wire routing tools.
Technical Requirements
- Hands-on experience in HV wiring harness routing and packaging.
- Working knowledge of CATIA V5/V6 wire routing.
- Exposure to UG NX.
- Ability to conduct vehicle DMU and clearance studies.
- Understanding of connector selection and pin mapping.
- Familiarity with automotive E/E systems.
- Knowledge of HV and LV harness design and integration.
Education
A B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Compensation
The salary range offered is INR 5,00,000 to INR 13,00,000 per year.
