Job Description

We are seeking two committed and dependable Design Engineers - Automotive (m/w/d) to join our Gelnhausen, Germany location as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing components, conducting analyses, and evaluating risks using systematic techniques such as FMEA, FEA, construction reviews, 8D, fault tree analysis, validation testing, and lifetime calculations.
• Advancing and modifying products adhering to APQP processes and associated tools and systems.
• Developing feasibility studies, reviewing drawings, and preparing technical reports.
• Preparing and leading technical presentations both internally and with clients.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a University of Applied Sciences or Bachelor's level; additional technical vocational training is advantageous.
• Experience in design and development, preferably within the automotive sector.
• Strong analytical skills for investigating complex issues and structured problem-solving.
• Proficiency in mechanical design and drawing creation using SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of tolerance analyses and confident handling of GD&T standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• High self-initiative, able to work independently with goal-oriented focus.
• Fluent German and English skills (negotiation-level).
