Job Overview
The role involves overseeing and managing pharmaceutical tender opportunities across designated countries and regions to ensure successful participation and operational execution.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and track pharmaceutical tender opportunities within assigned territories.
- Maintain and update tender databases promptly and accurately.
- Assist in tender evaluations by collecting and analyzing key commercial data.
- Carry out financial and profitability analyses related to tender bids.
- Support pricing reviews and commercial assessments linked to tenders.
- Generate insightful reports and business analytics to back tender-related decisions.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to assess product availability and operational feasibility for tenders.
- Support demand forecasting efforts and tender volume planning.
- Identify and monitor potential supply risks impacting tender participation.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of all tender-related information.
- Prepare periodic reports, dashboards, and management summaries.
- Collaborate closely with country teams, commercial stakeholders, and regional functions.
- Consolidate tender information for comprehensive management review.
- Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives within the tender function.
Professional Qualifications and Skills
- Lead end-to-end tender intelligence and analytics in pharmaceutical markets, providing foresight on opportunities, commercial evaluation, financial analysis, and operational readiness through cross-functional coordination.
- A bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- MBA or equivalent qualification with a strong academic record.
- 15 to 18 years of post-qualification experience in a multinational manufacturing environment, preferably within pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong cultural sensitivity with the aptitude to collaborate globally.
- Proactive and capable of working independently.
- Attention to detail and strong administrative capabilities combined with technical proficiency in IT and data management.
- Dynamic leadership qualities, able to inspire teams, meet deadlines, and manage expectations confidently.
- Ability to prioritise multiple critical tasks and make sound decisions quickly.
