Role Overview
Delivery Drivers serve as vital representatives of GSF Car Parts, ensuring efficient delivery of automotive components to customers while upholding exceptional customer service standards. Operating under a zero hours or casual contract, drivers provide essential coverage during holidays or staff absences, directly contributing to the organization's high-performance culture and enhancing the company’s reputation through positive customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver automotive products to customers within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
- Maintain outstanding customer service consistently during deliveries.
- Provide feedback to the branch regarding customer insights and competitor activities.
- Properly load vehicles following prescribed procedures.
- Retrieve customer returns as necessary.
- Conduct daily maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle.
- Offer support in the warehouse when required.
- Assist with deliveries between branches as needed.
Working Hours
Up to an average of 41 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with alternating Saturdays based on branch coverage requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Holder of a full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
- Minimum of three years driving experience.
- Strong familiarity with areas within a 40-mile radius of the branch location.
- Previous experience in a delivery driver capacity.
- Understanding and commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and demonstrate punctuality.
- Customer-oriented attitude with motivation to exceed expectations.
