Overview
The Delivery & Distribution Manager is tasked with ensuring prompt and effective delivery of products to customers by overseeing the entire supply chain and managing distribution activities. This role demands strong communication capabilities and an in-depth understanding of logistics management. Positioned under the Director of Logistics, the manager will play a key role in coordinating all distribution-related operations.
Key Duties
- Design and execute robust distribution strategies to optimize delivery processes.
- Supervise operational workflows to guarantee timely and efficient product delivery.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to coordinate inventory management and shipment schedules.
- Ensure adherence to relevant industry regulations and quality standards.
- Lead the recruitment and training initiatives for the distribution team.
- Utilize data analysis to support strategic decisions concerning distribution.
- Maintain thorough records of inventory levels, delivery transactions, and staff details.
- Oversee the departmental budget dedicated to distribution activities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or an equivalent discipline.
- Three to five years of proven experience in logistics or distribution management.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and strong communication skills.
- Advanced problem-solving aptitude.
- Proficient with inventory management software and delivery tracking tools.
- Efficient multitasking and priority management skills.
- Deep knowledge of compliance requirements and industry regulations.
