Position Overview

N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies & Research (NLDIMSR), located in Mumbai, invites applications for the role of Dean – Academics. We seek a visionary leader capable of guiding academic strategy, accelerating innovation in instruction and learning, enhancing research quality, and championing accreditation and quality assurance efforts.

Key Roles and Duties

• Develop and implement strategic direction for academic programs and institutional policies.
• Oversee curriculum formulation and initiatives for elevating academic standards.
• Lead efforts related to accreditation, rankings, and compliance with regulations.
• Promote a vibrant research culture including faculty development and scholarly publications.
• Enhance industry partnerships as well as international collaborations.
• Ensure superior student learning achievements and strong governance in academics.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ph.D. in Management or a relevant field from an accredited university.
• At least 15 years of experience in higher education academics.
• Minimum five years holding senior leadership roles such as Dean, Associate Dean, Academic Director, Professor and Head, or similar.
• Demonstrated expertise in accreditation processes, curriculum design, faculty leadership, and institutional advancement.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

• Capability in academic leadership and administration within higher education.
• Expertise in curriculum development and quality assurance mechanisms.
• Experience managing research initiatives and faculty growth.
• Strategic planning and academic governance aptitude.
