Data Scientist

Overview

Coding Mind Academy is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to oversee and maintain backend database systems, ensuring thorough documentation and efficient data analysis. The role focuses on utilizing programming skills in Python and SQL to debug and process data, while collaborating with stakeholders to define project objectives and user requirements.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and update the organization's backend database and prepare comprehensive project documentation, including spreadsheets, databases, analysis tools, and forms.
• Identify and resolve issues in data processing by debugging with Python and SQL.
• Engage directly with clients to collect data and clarify project scope, goals, and user needs.
• Analyze student participation data to extract insights on educational program performance, and monitor student progress to detect trends and patterns.
• Work in partnership with internal teams to formulate and apply data-driven strategies aimed at enhancing program efficiency.
• Design and develop informative data visualizations to communicate findings to students and parents effectively.
• Continuously assess program impact through ongoing data evaluation, identifying key elements such as curriculum quality, teacher training, and student support that influence outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in mathematics including statistical and mathematical modeling, as well as machine learning concepts.
• Expertise in Python and R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
• Proficient in logical reasoning and mathematical proof techniques.
