Key Responsibilities
- Extract meaningful insights through detailed data analysis of operational trends, capacity utilization, and resource deployment to enhance efficiency.
- Create and test proof-of-concept models for new operational strategies, assessing their impact on critical performance indicators.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated forecasting and optimization models employing machine learning and operations research techniques to support scalable operations.

Candidate Profile
- Master's degree in fields such as Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics; a PhD is advantageous.
- Minimum of three years experience within operations-intensive sectors like logistics, supply chain, mobility, or e-commerce fulfillment.
- Demonstrated expertise in data and time-series analyses, statistical modeling, and the end-to-end implementation of forecasting and optimization models.
- Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) into daily analytic workflows for coding, data exploration, and project delivery.
- Familiarity with Agentic development methodologies.
- Proficiency with key technologies such as SQL, Python, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on background in operational and optimization challenges, including capacity planning and logistics.
- Strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and executive leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities to break down complex operational issues and deliver data-driven recommendations.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing operational environment.
- Fluent in English, with German language skills considered beneficial.

Compensation
The annual gross salary for this position ranges from €69,000 to €80,000. Compensation is individualized based on experience, qualifications, and skills. Additional benefits include virtual company shares through the VSOP program.
